Alright, I'm very musey [plus these are so much fun xD] so here's another S/D for you guys. Active member tallies are still up in the air at the moment, so I'm doing this by memory. If I've forgotten anyone, just reply and I'll modify this post and add you to the list. Comprende? =D
Lara Isabel Clefter Disaster! You've just bought yet another rug for Splash [Olly loves to steal them and rip them to shreds] and are pleased when it stays out of harm's way for an entire week. Going to the stables one day, you are completely shocked and stunned to see that is completely gone. Olly isn't the culprit because there are no straps or bits of fabric fluttering around the paddock. You can only assume that someone has STOLEN your brand-new rug, right off your horse's back!
Matt Steel Surprise! Wild Cherry won a big rodeo and now you are swamped with sponsors! Not only that, but you've won $500 and a new Western saddle!
Ray 'Shep' Shepard Surprise! You and Sketch are wandering out on a trail at the ranch when you see a little filly by itself. You take it home and ring the vet's to see if any fillies have been reported missing. You get a call back from a man who says his filly escaped from her paddock, and you realise it's the same filly as yours. He says he's swamped with horses and barely has room for the little Appaloosa and is glad for you to keep her!
Alan Carter Disaster! The new saddle you ordered doesn't come because the company has gone out of business. What's worse, it was super expensive and you can't get a refund!
Sarah Dunbar Surprise! Romanie is galloping happily around the pasture when he steps in a chuck-hole and trips before your very eyes. Horrified, you sprint over, fearing the worst, and see that he's perfectly fine. Looking at the chuck-hole, you are surprised to see a pair of boots lying innocently in them! What the.. ?
Amanda Hanson Surprise! You're walking through one of the back paddocks when you hear a sad little mew. Investigating, you discover a tiny little black-and-white kitten whose leg has a big gash on it! You rush it to the vet's and get it cleaned up. The vet announces that it is a stray and offers it to you!
Kelsey Hanson Surprise! Walking around in the mall one day, you bend down to tie up your shoelaces and see something sparkle in the corner. Creeping towards it, you see a stunning, genuine diamond ring lying abandoned in the corner. Aren't you the lucky one!
Vanessa Hanson Disaster! The other day you bought gorgeous new stirrups and a bit at Al's and got them engraved with pretty designs. Setting them on a shelf in the tack room, you go home for the night, only to return in the morning to see that someone knocked them off the shelf and they landed in a bucket of water where they've been rusting all night long! They're completely ruined!
Kalinda Sohma Surprise! Leo, rummaging around in the paddock, has unearthed a beautiful show bridle! It is very grubby but is in good condition! The bit will need to be replaced, but a good clean and you'll have a beautiful new bridle for free on your hands!
Madeline London Surprise! A while ago you were home sick and were reading a magazine. There was an ad for The Cutest Dog competition, and all you had to do was send in a photo of your dog. You send Pablo's picture in for the fun of it. To your surprise, he came in second place and you've won $150 plus a trophy!
Noah Belanger Disaster! Having just bought Percy an expensive new rug, you trusted him to keep it nice. A word of advice? Never trust horses. The new rug now has holes, loose threads and is trampled all over the mud in the paddock. Lovely.
Lou Cornforth Disaster! You just bought Chip from Ashleigh and are excited to have him home again. To your dismay, he arrives in the stable yard, lame as a cat. Oh dear.
Chris Hobday Surprise! The other day you were out at the shops and bought a cute little silver elephant statue for $3.95 at a thrift shop for the fun of it. The lady at the counter told you it would bring you good luck. You didn't really believe her, but you do now as you are down at Al's Tack Shop when he shows you a brand-new, absolutely gorgeous show saddle and offers it to you for only $200 bucks as it is from a discontinued line!
Danny Smith Disaster! You and Snap are out on a trail when a squirrel jumps across the path. Snap spooks and rears, throwing you off and galloping away. Luckily you land in a bush and are fine, with just a bruised ego, and go after him. You find him in a paddock, favoring one leg. Uh-oh. That is not good news...
Roseanne Grey Disaster! Oh no! You tripped and fell at school and now have a sprained wrist! The doctors say it will heal quickly as it isn't all that major, but what an inconvenience!
Phoebe Yenson Disaster! Monster Man was just shod with a special type of [very expensive - it was a bit of a stretch for shoes, but you managed] shoes at Max's and as soon as you leave, he throws one! Grr!!
Mmkay. Done. =D Again, I based this off memory [ie., I used the list of participants for the shows xD] so if anyone's been left out, reply and I'll sort you out. Don't forget to RP out your surprise or disaster.
